We met up with Curtis and Rona to talk about how they could increase their online presence. Curtis owns A1 Contracting LTD and was looking for a way to increase his reach and find a way to engage more meaningfully with his customers. Social media is great because you put things out, but customers can also give you feedback and engage. First we decided to make a video with Curtis to show off who he is and explain more about his awesome company. It's important for us to tell the story as it is and show potential customers what's really happening. With social media when things are over produced or feel fake people can sense it instantly. Who you are attracts customers who appreciate that. We created a base of photos telling the story of what A1 Contracting does. We had some photos given to us by Rona and we filtered them to feel more like a set. Mixing these existing photos with some new photos, we set up the foundation and the tone for their new Facebook page. Many customers feel better about engaging with a company when they have a sense of knowing them. We always look for ways to humanize the experience and educate customers on what and who they will be dealing with. Creating some familiarity can go a long way. We are super excited for these guys to be on social media and can't wait to see how their story unfolds. Also shout out to Rona and her great photography. Social Recharge. Like many things new and exciting, this one feels almost impossible to explain. The idea behind it is, as business owners and managers we often have a tendency to work more instead of working with more balance. We wanted to give people an opportunity to learn some great skills with social media, but also take an hour to just totally unwind. Part yoga. Part social media. All workshop. We teamed up with Darlene Blanch from One Yoga because of the unique understanding she has of the importance of self care. The conversations I had with Darlene about this were really transformative and I wanted to be able to share this with our clients. In the spirit of creating more balance in our hectic lives we have dedicated the final hour of the workshop to optimizing your social media for business. We will be looking over how to schedule and plan your posts. Also we will discover ways to delegate content creation to employees, customers and brand ambassadors. We hope this 2 hour workshop will serve to create better habits, lower stress levels and encourage some sweet community bonding.
